No volume of emotional blackmail or mawkish story will cleanse the guilty of their guilt enveloped in false innocence. It is only accepting their wrongs, humbling themselves, being remorseful, sincerely asking for forgiveness and embracing the path to reconciliation and peace is their savior .
Just dismount that high horse!
The pen will always be mightier than the sword, just take it to the bank. This is where truth, facts and sincerity rule over emotions, sympathy, culture, age and seniority.
Cultural hangovers have continue to ruin families. Fathers and mothers offend their children, and still demand apologies from them. What did the holy book say about relationship between parents and their children? "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord".
"Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. “Honor your father and mother.”
Parents do not have to lord it over their children when it is obvious they are wrong. They should apologise to them,and not employ their position as parents to humilate and subjugate them to submission. Children are required to honor them, but not go to bat for them when they are faulty.
When an elder is at home and abandon a she goat to suffer the travails of partriution on its tether, is not only a heinous sacrilege but also an anathema. What lessons is he or she handing down to the younger generations?
This is the era of masking our faces with basket, after a long period of pulling punches and therefore speaking the truth before the king.
The matriarch's family is still diametrically polarized today, either because those who knew the facts of the matter, consciously and deliberately elected to keep mum, or were brow beaten into subservience by the guilty.

Any imprecation laid on any defender of truth will definitely and assuredly be rendered ineffectual by heaven.
We cannot take refuge in passivity not to tell the truth. Defending, upholding and maintaining truth is our religion and we are more than ever committed to it and will perceive it a badge of honor dying in championing this cause.
