"POURING OF WATER ON AN OCEAN"

"POURING OF WATER ON AN OCEAN"

The ocean, a vast and seemingly insatiable body of water, receives the flow of rivers, lakes, and streams, yet its thirst remains unquenchable. This endless thirst is a metaphor for excessive materialism and avarice. The ocean's wealth grows as it accumulates the waters of others, leaving them drained and parched. Similarly, in our family's dynamics, those who already possess more resources (the ocean) continue to accumulate wealth and power, while those who have less (the rivers, lakes, and streams) are left to struggle. Despite their abundance, the ocean-like individuals remain insatiable, ignoring the needs of others and perpetuating imbalance.

I was unwittingly misled to contribute to this imbalance, driven by my belief in the unity and bonds that I thought existed within our family. However, I now realize that this unity was merely an illusion. My efforts, though well-intentioned, ultimately fed into the insatiable hunger of those who already had plenty, rather than supporting those in need. Recent events, such as the death of the matriarch and my parents, have shattered this illusion, revealing the harsh realities of our family's dynamics. The past took its toll on my loved ones, who were victims of a well-organized and constant character assassination by the ocean-like characters. For instance, these individuals led me to believe that my loved ones were ne'er-do-wells.

I regret my actions and wish I had prioritized supporting those who were struggling, rather than perpetuating the imbalance. If I could turn back time, I would redirect my efforts to help those in need, rather than fueling the ocean's insatiable appetite.
