"WHO IS A GRANDMOTHER?"

        "WHO IS A GRANDMOTHER?"

A grandmother, simply defined, is the mother of one's mother or father.
A loving and nurturing figure who plays a vital role in the family. She's often associated with warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love, providing care and support to her children and grandchildren.

The matriarch, a Grandmother, was an integral part of the family tree's root, a tree trunk comprising various branches. She was the mainstay of her family, drawing water with her roots and channeling it to her branches for sustenance. A virtuous woman, she prioritized her family's welfare over her own. She was the family's burden bearer.

The matriarch was an ideal grandmother who excelled and distinguished herself in all her endeavors. Grandmother, when I think of the things you did, like the special love you had for others, I know you were the very best and dearest of grandmothers.

Believe me, with all those endearing young charms that I gazed on so fondly while you were alive, faded and fleeted in my arms like fairy gifts, you would still be adored, as in this moment you are. Though your loveliness faded, around the dear ruin, each wish of my heart would entwine itself verdantly still. It was not while beauty and youth were thine own, and thy cheeks were unprofaned by tears, that the fervor and faith of thy soul could be known.

To which time will but make thee more dear; No, the heart that has truly loved never forgets. But as truly loves on to the close. Like the sunflower that turns to her God when he sets with the same look she turned when he rose, your sun will continue to shine on from generation to generation, lighting our paths and chasing away the cold among us.

With all my love, happy first anniversary of your passing. May you continue to rest in the Lord. Amen.
